Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka's office is launching a new app to provide easier access to state payment and fund information.
The "Illinois Pays" app for I-phones and androids features all sorts of information about state finances. Topinka says it's especially handy for anxious state vendors wondering when they will get paid. You can also click on "fund status" to see a summary of the state's current finances, and check out a list of frequently asked questions.
