The Frankfort Unit School District office in West Frankfort is closing for the time being to track COVID-19 cases.
Superintendent Matt Donkin reports staff in closest contact will remain isolated at this time.
He says anyone needing to conduct regular business with the district office, call (618) 937-2421 – and leave a message. Calls will be returned as soon as possible.
The Frankfort District planned to release a finalized plan about the upcoming academic year sometime Friday evening. Students are scheduled to report for a half-day on August 14.
