A former Carbondale pastor will spend six years behind bars, after his guilty plea on felony theft charges.

Jackson County Court records show Joshua Swain was sentenced Monday on theft, identity theft, and fraud charges. He'd pleaded guilty to those charges back in January.

Swain was the pastor of "The View" church. He was accused of stealing thousands of dollars from church members.
