SIU guard Marcus Bartley is on the Academic All-America Division I basketball team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
The St. Louis University transfer is a sports administration major with a 4.0 GPA. Bartley was named a third team all-academic team member.
He led the Salukis in assists this season, despite missing the first six games with a broken wrist.
Bartley is the program's first Academic All-America team pick since Bryan Mullins in 2009.
