University Spokesman Rod Sievers says so far, there have not been any major incidents involving the picketers and those coming to and from campus. At least one campus building did have "Scab Line" written in chalk in front of the building's entrance.
University officials checked classrooms Thursday for attendance. Sievers says practically all classes met. He says the university estimates the number of people picketing at about 100. Faculty Association officials say they're not keeping track of what their members are doing but they suggest the university estimate is low.
