SIU leaders say they'd like your help in building a new strategic plan for the university.
A system-wide committee has already been working to bring feedback on the biggest challenges and opportunities facing SIU, and President Dan Mahony says a new survey for the public will help bring in even more information as the system works to plan its next steps.
The plan already has proposed mission and vision statements, along with suggested key areas to focus on. Mahony says those pillars will help guide decision-making from the system level to campuses and departments for the next several years.
Public comments are welcomed online, and during two virtual town halls scheduled for next month. Mahony says he hopes a formal strategic plan will be in place by later this summer.
