SIH Leaders Say New Logo Emphasizes Mission

Southern Illinois Healthcare is unveiling a new logo - an action its CEO says is more about reaffirming the mission than changing an image.
SIH CEO Rex Budde says replacing the former cross image took months of research and work. But he says the new image - with no cross - will symbolize what the organization is all about.
 
"It shows that. It shows, representative at least in my mind, arms that are reaching out to hold people, and support people, and to help people. And that's what we do."
 
Budde says people will see different images in the new logo, but he hopes it helps to bring SIH's many facilities and services into one mission - to serve patients in southern Illinois.
