A new initiative is highlighting products made in Southern Illinois.
Area chambers of commerce have teamed up with Senator Dale Fowler and Shop Southern Illinois to promote products, businesses and attractions in Southern Illinois.
Shop, Eat, Play Southern Illinois Made has been 5 months in the making because COVID-19 canceled the Southern Illinois Made Expo in July.
Senator Fowler says a weekly video will showcase local businesses, products and the people involved.
“We hope that people see this initiative and take it to heart so our neighbors, our economy and our communities can better manage this pandemic and come out stronger when this pandemic is over with.”
