Southeast Missouri State University has seen an uptick in active COVID-19 cases in the past two weeks.
As of Tuesday, Southeast Missouri State University reported 130 active cases. 121 are students and the other nine employees. There are 45 students in quarantine/isolation on the Cape Girardeau campus.
In the past two weeks, SEMO has seen an additional 98 active cases, 91 of which are students with the coronavirus.
Since tracking began on July 27, the University has reported 259 overall confirmed cases of COVID-19...that breaks down to 239 students and 20 employees.
