Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford earned $114,145 and paid slightly more than $18,000 in state and federal taxes in 2012.
The Chenoa Republican released his income and tax information on Sunday.
Rutherford is one of four Republicans seeking to challenge Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn next fall. He's the last Republican primary candidate to release his tax returns.
Rutherford's income included his annual salary as state treasurer and other sources, and he defers a portion each year.
The returns show Rutherford paid $4,768 in state income taxes and $13,301 in federal income taxes. He took $41,885 in itemized deductions and reported $16,662 in losses.
Rutherford also released tax information for his running mate. Records show Northbrook attorney Steve Kim earned $117,456 and paid $35,000 in state and federal taxes in 2012.
