Reading Baseball: Remembering Yogi Berra

When baseball Hall of Famer Yogi Berra passed away last month, there were plenty of stories remembering him as a beloved figure beyond the diamond.

In this edition of Reading Baseball, Pete Peterson says while those stories are true, he would have enjoyed hearing more about the side of Berra that helped him be a part of ten World Series championship teams.
Reading Baseball is a series of essays and commentaries by Richard "Pete" Peterson, the author of Pops: The Willie Stargell Story and Growing Up With Clemente.

Richard "Pete" Peterson is the creative force behind WSIU Radio's Reading Baseball Series. Pete's original essays and commentaries are a regular staple for any fan of the game.
