America's veterans will now receive the same annual cost-of-living adjustment as Social Security Recipients.
President Trump Friday signed the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act into law.
The bipartisan bill was introduced by southern Illinois republican Representative Mike Bost and democratic Representative Elaine Luria of Virginia.
It'll provide a cost-of-living increase for disability compensation; compensation for dependents; clothing allowance; dependency and indemnity compensation to surviving spouses; and, dependency and indemnity compensation to children paid of wounded warriors and their families for injuries they suffered while serving the nation in uniform.
This increase is set to begin December 1.
