A popular beach at a Carbondale lake will not be opening for the 2020 season.
The city says Poplar Camp Beach at Cedar Lake will be closed as an effort to comply with the governor's executive order.
They said lake staff will use the opportunity to continue expanding the lake's trails and develop camping sites and make improvements.
The public access boat launch will remain open.
