A Perry County man was seriously hurt when his concrete truck left the road, hit an embankment and overturned.
Illinois State Police say 36-year-old Brian Cook of Pinckneyville was driving west on Route 154 near Crocus Road in Perry County at around 3:30 p.m. Thursday when the crash occurred.

Cook was taken to Pinckneyville Community Hospital. He faces a charge of improper lane usage.
