As Illinois moves into phase three of the Restore Illinois plan, Carbondale's Hickory Ridge Golf Course is easing restrictions as well. Starting Friday May 29th, groups of up to four people can play, motorized carts can be used with just one person, unless they're in the same family.
Tee times will be separated by 10 minutes. However, in the interest of safety, there will be no public drinking water available and the bottom of the cups will be elevated, so golfers get get their ball without touching the cup.
Golfers will also need to bring their own sanitizer.
