Perry County Missouri Tightens Restrictions Due to Growing COVID-19 Numbers

Perry County in southeast Missouri is strongly discouraging social gatherings of any kind after it jumped into the top 10 counties in the State of Missouri for the highest number positive cases of COVID-19 per capita.
Perry County has over 70 active cases and over 150 close contacts to positive cases that the Perry County Health Department has asked to self-isolate at home.

The Perry County Health Department is warning the next 2 weeks have the potential to turn a bad situation even worse.

At this time, the Health Department is strongly encouraging residents to only spend time within their household family unit.
