Number of Tested Cases of COVID-19 Released by Southern Seven Health Department

As the number of COVID-19 Cases continues to rise across the state, many are wanting to know the number of cases tested in Southern Illinois. 

Southern Seven Health Department posted on their Facebook page, as of today (Monday) 113 tests returned with negative results and only 2 positive. 

Health officials say Southern Seven is not able to track the number of pending tests. But, they can report the total number of returned results for the southern seven counties. 

Officials are reminding residents to continue to comply with the shelter in place order, and only leaving your home for essential needs.
