Illinois State Police have released more details on Wednesday's reported bomb threat at its headquarters in Du Quoin.
Authorities say at just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, a telecommunicator reported to the District 13 Shift Commander that a woman entered the front lobby, picked up the phone, and said someone had put a bomb in her vehicle.
Once the scene was secured and the suspect was taken into custody, no explosive materials were located. The woman was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
