Nationwide Search on for Carbondale Murder Suspect

A five thousand dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a Carbondale murder suspect.
Police say a nationwide search is on for 25-year-old Orlando Sheron, who has ties to southeast Missouri, the Lake St. Louis area, Chicago, Mississippi and Michigan.

Sheron, Thomas Evans, Jr. and Tyren Johnson are suspects in the shooting death of 29-year-old Keon Lavonte Cooper behind Hangar 9 in Carbondale on Tuesday. Evans, Jr. and Johnson have already been arrested.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Sheron should contact Carbondale Police or CrimeStoppers at 618-549-COPS.
