One of the four men accused in the 2011 killing of a Mt. Vernon cab driver has been found guilty of first-degree murder.

The Mt. Vernon Police Department says 25-year-old Mark Taylor of Mt. Vernon will be sentenced to prison in the shooting death of 75-year-old Charles Ellis.
Ellis was found dead in his cab after having been shot in the back during what police say was an attempted robbery.

Two other suspects, Damondros James and Christopher Wells, both of Mt. Vernon, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in Ellis' death.

The fourth suspect, Demandre Black of Swansea was sentenced to prison for aggravated battery with a firearm in the incident.
