SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale Is This Weekend!
Carbondale, Ill. – Reporters, photographers, and camera crews are invited to cover the 6th Annual SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale this Saturday, September 7 from 10am-9pm and Sunday, September 8 from noon to 5:30pm at the University Mall, 1237 East Main in Carbondale, Ill., across from the Food Court.
NOTE: Shoppers line up early on the first day of the sale to find the best collectible albums and other bargains, so if covering the sale, 9:45am would be a good time to arrive to capture the most action – when doors open through noon.

The Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS) and WSIU Public Radio, the public radio stations of Southern Illinois University Carbondale, are co-hosting the sale with the University Mall for the sixth straight year. This year's sponsors include the SIU Credit Union in Carbondale, Energy, Marion, Harrisburg, and Metropolis, and Wright Do-It Center in Murphysboro.
Proceeds benefit the Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS), a service of WSIU Public Radio and SIU Carbondale for individuals who are blind or whose physical condition makes reading difficult or impossible.
