Marion Police Seek Help in Finding Suspects

The Marion Police Department is asking for help in locating two suspects wanted for theft.

Officers say on September 10th, two white male suspects in a dark colored pickup truck approached an elderly Marion woman, while she was outside of her residence.

After the woman accepted their offer to clean her gutters, one of the suspects distracted the woman, while the second suspect stole items from inside the woman’s residence.  This incident was caught on the woman’s video surveillance camera.  The Marion Police Department is now requesting the public’s assistance in identifying these suspects.

Suspect #1 is a white male, medium build, with short gray hair, a white or salt and peppered mustache and goatee, seen wearing a plaid button up shirt, blue jean pants, and light colored hat.

Suspect #2 is a white male, stocky build, with dark brown hair, wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jean pants.

This incident took place in the area of N. Russell St. and W. Deyoung St.  Anyone with information in regards to the identity of these suspects, please contact the Marion Police Department at 618-993-2124.
