A man is charged with aggravated assault with a handgun after he pulled a gun on another man in the parking lot of Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Marion Police say 74-year-old Gola Eckles pulled into the hospital parking lot in front of the victim's car.
Officers say the victim got out of his car and asked Eckles what the problem was. They say Eckles removed a revolver from his pocket and pointed it at the victim and told him he was going to kill him. Eckles then left the scene.
Police later located Eckles and were given permission to search his vehicle, where they found the gun.
