The transport ship, the USS LST 325 is docked at the Chester Riverfront through Sunday September 9th, 2018.
The ship saw action during the Normandy invasion during World War II.
The ships costs roughly 150-thousand dollars a year to maintain, and is staffed and run by all volunteers. Many of these volunteers are Navy veterans themselves.
