One southern Illinois school district is reminding parents to register their children for the upcoming school year -- even if they plan on their students taking part in remote or blended learning.
Anna District 37 -- which serves two elementary schools and one junior high school -- says around 250 students from last year did not register during the two-day event last week.
The district took to social media to tell parents they still need to sign up their kids even if they don't plan on attending in-person classes on a part-time basis.
Anna District 37 will hold another round of student registrations August 3-6 between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
