Lew Hartzog Family Requests Donations be Made to Saluki Track & Field

The family of Lew Hartzog has requested, in lieu of flowers, friends make a donation to Saluki Track and Field in memory of the former coach.

Donations can be made on-line or by mailing a check to Saluki Athletics in Carbondale. Make check payable to "SIU" and write in the memo line "in memory of Lew Hartzog."

Hartzog passed away Tuesday night at the age of 96. He led the Saluki Track and Field program to unparalleled success during his tenure from 1961 to 1984.
