Senator Mark Kirk's office on Monday received a call from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wishing him a speedy recovery from his recent strokeThe Illinois Republican was pushing for harsh penalties against Iran to deter its alleged pursuit of a nuclear weapon before he suffered a stroke in January.
Kirk started walking exercises on a treadmill last month as part of his recovery.
