Ken Henderson Steps Down as Saluki Baseball Head Coach

Jun 3, 2019

SIU is in search of a new baseball coach.

Saluki athletic director Jerry Kill says Ken Henderson has stepped down as the head baseball coach. Kill says the decision was mutual between himself and Henderson, who has been a part of the program since 1991, including the head coach the past nine seasons. Henderson was 241-294-1 as the head coach.

Kill says assistant coaches P.J. Finigan and Seth LaRue will remain on staff until a new coach is hired, with Finigan serving as the team's acting head coach in the interim.

A national search for a new head coach is underway.
