Jogger Robbed in Carbondale

Carbondale Police are investigating a reported robbery on Tuesday evening.
Officers say at around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, they responded to the report of a robbery in the 400 block of South Logan Avenue, where they learned the victim was jogging in the area when he was tackled to the ground by the suspect. The suspect battered the victim and stole items belonging to the victim. Officers later located the stolen items. The victim was treated for a minor injury.

The suspect was described as a black male with a light complexion about 6’02” tall, wearing a blue face covering, black tank top and shorts.
