Jackson County Health Department announced one new case of COVID-19.
Health Officials say a male in his fifties, acquired the virus through local contact with a known case. He has been place in isolation.
Officials also say one previously identified COVID-19 case has been transferred to another county, thus keeping the total number of lab-confirmed cases to date in Jackson County at 69.
Seven deaths related to COVID-19 have occurred in county residents. Twenty-nine of the positive individuals have been released from isolation.
