Jackson Co. Man Violates Probation, Heads to Prison

A Jackson County man has been sentenced for violating his probation.

The Jackson County State's Attorney says 27-year-old Daniel Brooks was originally sentenced to probation after pleading guilty in 2017 to aggravated battery for attacking another man by striking him in the face and head with a pistol.
But, Brooks admitted he did not comply with Domestic Violence Counseling previously ordered by the Court.

So, he received a three-year prison term because of the violation.
