The Illinois Department of Public Health is tracking COVID-19 cases at the state's veteran's homes.
IDPH director Dr. Ngoze Ezike says there are 30 residents and ten workers at Manteno and one resident in the LaSalle facility who have tested positive.
"Testing has already occurred at the LaSalle home. It's currently taking place at Anna and will occur Tuesday at Quincy Veteran's Home. Neither Anna nor Quincy are reporting cases at this time."
Ezike says the Illinois Department of Veteran's Affairs is taking the proper precautions to try to reduce the spread of the virus in its facilities.
