IDPH: 1,200 new cases of COVID-19

The Illinois Department of Public Health announced more than 1,200 new cases of COVID-19.

Friday, during the Daily COVID-19 Briefing, IDPH reported 1,209 new cases, including 53 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 8,904 cases with 210 deaths.

Cases have been reported in 64 of Illinois' 102 counties
