Lawmakers Paul Schimpf, Terri Bryant, Dave Severin and Patrick Windhorst met with Directors and operators of human services providers at a listening forum at John A. Logan College on Friday, to hear the concerns of those at the ground level of providing valuable support for those with disabilities.
Many of the attendees voiced concerns ranging from the impact of the minimum wage, to the burden of, what they say, is too much time spent doing paperwork.
The forum was sponsored by the Illinois Partners for Human Service.
