Helicopter Crashes in Randolph County

Illinois State Police are investigating a helicopter crash in Randolph County.Early reports say the helicopter went down Saturday afternoon near West Market Street and Violent Drive in Red Bud. The pilot was killed - troopers say he was the only person on the aircraft.

Illinois State Police, the Federal Aviation Administration, and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating what caused the crash.
