Heartland Regional Revises Its Visitor Policy

Images

Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion is revising its visitor policy.
Beginning on Tuesday, in alignment with the region's current mitigations outlined in the Governor’s Restore Illinois reopening plan, every person entering the hospital will continue to undergo temperature and illness screenings and will be required to wear masks, observe social distancing requirements, and perform good hand hygiene.

Each patient will be allowed one visitor, between 11 a.m.-7 p.m., at the hospital or associate clinics, such as the Inpatient Medical Unit; the Emergency Department; the Surgical Unit & Perioperative Services; Outpatient Lab/Imaging and Outpatient Clinics.

Approved visitors are asked to stay in the patient’s room, or designated waiting area, throughout the length of their visit.

No visitors will be allowed in the Intensive Care Unit.
