Due to a number of students and staff in the Harrisburg School District testing positive for COVID-19, students will go to full-time remote learning starting Thursday.
Unit 3 officials say the remote learning plan will remain in place through October 2 with the hope of returning to the hybrid model of in-person and remote learning on October 5.
The district will attempt to provide internet hot spots for students in need at no cost to the families.
