Much of the viewing area is under a freeze warning or frost advisory overnight Friday.
The National Weather Service in Paducah says to expect freezing temperatures overnight tonight with record lows in the lower to middle 30s.
Starting tonight at 11pm and continuing until 8 am Saturday, a Freeze Warning has been issued for Williamson, Franklin, Jefferson, Hamilton, Gallatin, Saline, and Hardin counties in Southern Illinois
Elsewhere in the region, a Frost Advisory has been issued.
