The first positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Franklin County.
The Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department says the individual, a woman in her 50s, is recovering and is at home in isolation.
Health officials say they are investigating and speaking with those who may have been in contact with the woman before she was diagnosed. Officials believe the woman was exposed to COVID-19 through "community spread."
