Four people were injured when a car crashed into a tree late Saturday night in Jackson County.
Deputies say 20-year old Jonathon Trammel lost control of his Ford and slammed into a tree near the intersection of Main Park Road and Murphysboro Lake Road just outside of Murphysboro.
Trammel and his three passengers were taken to a local hospital after the crash, one was later flown to a St. Louis hospital for treatment.
Police say Trammel was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
