Former SIU Carbondale Provost John Nicklow has been named President of the University of New Orleans.
Nicklow, who left SIU for UNO last year, has served as that school's Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The University of Louisiana Board of Supervisors chose Nicklow last week on a ten-six vote.
