Five Carbondale Young People In The Running For Youth Of The Year

The Boys and Girls Club of Carbondale will hold their third annual competition and dinner this Thursday in the  SIU Student Center.  Tina Carpenter, the Executive Director of the Club says past winners have gone on to have productive careers. One recent winner has been accepted into the United States Air Force.  Carpenter is also excited that this year's awards dinner will be held in the SIU Student Center Ballroom B, which, she says, is a win win for both the University and the Boys and Girls Club.  For more information you can call 457-8877.  You can also browse to:  http://www.bgc-cdale.org/
