Eleven People Arrested in White County

Eleven people from White County have been arrested in connection to a lengthy narcotics investigation.

The Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, White County Sheriff's Office and the Carmi Police Department arrested seven people on drug-related charges and four others on non-drug related warrants.
The people arrested are:

Jack Weasel, 50 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine Unlawful Delivery of Controlled Substance (Heroin)

Kendra O'Brien, 37 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine

Jeffery M. Newman, 52 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine

Richard Travelstead, 58 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Possession of Methamphetamine

Jason P. Schneider, 40 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine

Thomas J. McGuire, 65 - Carmi, Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine

Richard L. Powell, 44 - Carmi, Theft

Tarynn L. Browning, 22 - Carmi, Obstruction of Justice, Violation of Probation

Jessica L. Smith, 33 - Crossville, Failure to Appear

Richard E. Ott, 34 - Carmi, Criminal Trespass to Land, Disorderly Conduct

Miranda K. Travelstead, 41 - Carmi, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine
