Eastern Illinois University has a new five-year deal with athletic wear company Adidas.
The Portland, Oregon-based company will provide the Panthers' official source for athletic footwear, apparel and accessories. The contract runs through the 2019 season.
Adidas will also supply EIU athletic programs with game and practice uniforms and travel and practice gear starting this fall. Adidas supplies athletic gear to more than 70 collegiate programs.
