A former SIU Administrator with strong education ties in Illinois and Kentucky may soon be heading east, to lead Youngstown State University.
Youngstown announced late last week it has extended an offer to Randy Dunn, whose contract as President at Murray State University in Kentucky was not renewed earlier this month. Dunn previously served as Superintendent of Schools in Illinois, and Director of SIU’s Educational Administration and Higher Education Department.
Dunn holds degrees from Illinois State University and the University of Illinois. If he accepts the offer, he would replace retiring Youngstown State University President Cynthia Anderson, who has served in that position for more than three decades.
