Du Quoin Man Found Dead in Jackson Co. Jail Cell

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday on an inmate at the Jackson County Jail, who was found dead in his cell.
Deputies with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department discovered the deceased body of 41-year-old Dustin Goodwin of Du Quoin at around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. He was the only inmate in the cell.

A death investigation is being conducted by Illinois State Police and the Jackson County Coroner's office.
