A former Saluki has broken the American hammer throw record for the third time in under a month.

DeAnna Price reclaimed the mark to win the USATF Outdoor Championships this past weekend in Des Moines, Iowa.
Price's throw of 78.12 meters is the top throw in the world so far this year and is the 4th longest ever.

Another Saluki alum, Gwen Berry, finished second to Price this past weekend after setting the record of 77.78 meters on June 8th at an event in Poland.

A third former Saluki, Jeneva McCall, took sixth in the hammer throw and seventh in the shot put at the USATF Championships.
