Illinois' COVID-19 positivity rate remained steady at 3% in the week ending June 15.
Data released Tuesday showed 623 new cases of COVID-19, along with 72 additional deaths.
Those totals bring the overall case count to 133,369 and the death toll to 6,398.
More than 1.2 million tests have been administered in the state since the pandemic arrived - labs are testing nearly 20,000 tests each day.
LOCAL CASES (4:15pm Update)
Effingham County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- 8 overall positive cases of COVID-19, with seven recoveries and one death.
- 994 negative tests results.
Egyptian Health Department:
- 2 new cases reported - one each in Saline County and White County.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases stands at 13, with 11 recoveries.
- 1,330 tests administered in the three-county service area
Franklin-Williamson Bi-County Health Department:
- 2 new cases in Williamson County - a woman in her 60s and a man in his 70s.
- Total COVID-19 positive cases now stands at 92 cases with 62 recoveries and one death in Williamson County, 12 cases with 12 recoveries in Franklin County.
Jackson County Health Department:
- 1 new death reported - a man in his 60s.
- 1 new case reported - a woman in her 50s.
- Jackson County's total positive test count is 320, with 272 recoveries and 17 deaths.
Jefferson County Public Health Department:
- 1 new case reported - a man in his 30s.
- Overall there have been 107 positive cases of COVID-19, with 90 recoveries and 14 deaths.
- 2,100 negative test results.
Marion County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, there have been 56 positive cases of COVID-19, with 55 recoveries.
- 1,801 negative test results.
Perry County Health Department:
- Overall, 44 positive cases of COVID-19, with 42 recoveries.
- 933 negative test results.
Randolph County Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, 279 positive cases of COVID-19, with 270 recoveries and seven deaths.
- 2,217 negative test results.
Richland County Public Health Department:
- No new cases reported.
- Overall, 4 positive cases of COVID-19, with 4 recoveries in Richland County. Two additional cases were identified, but those patients live outside Richland County.
- 1,095 negative test results.
Southern Seven Health Department:
- 1 new death - a woman in her 90s from Union County.
- 1 new case reported - a woman in her 60s from Pulaski County.
- Overall, Southern Seven reports 276 total confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 172 recoveries and 16 deaths.
- 3,300 negative test results in the 7 county service area.
