(August 14) -- Illinois' new COVID-19 infections totaled 2,264 on Friday, and the state added 25 confirmed deaths. The data brings the overall number of coronavirus cases to 202,691 since the pandemic began, and the death toll stands at 7,721.
Additionally, 3.28 million tests have been processed since the outbreak began. The rolling statewide positivity rate is 4.1% for the week ending August 13. Health officials report 1,612 people were hospitalized across Illinois with COVID-19. Of those, 345 were in the ICU, and 126 were on ventilators.
