Customer Visited Jackson Co. Bar After Testing Positive for COVID-19

A Jackson County bar is closing temporarily due to the recent hike in local COVID-19 cases and the exposure in the establishment last weekend.
The Old Tin Bar in Jacob says one of its customers last Saturday had tested positive for the virus just a few days prior. This individual lied about his infection and it took multiple people -- who know him personally -- to come forward and confirm he in fact tested positive.

Management at the Old Tin Bar believes it's in everyone's best interest if the bar closes its doors for at least the next couple of weeks. People will be notified on social media about a re-opening date.

A Carbondale restaurant will be re-opening next week after voluntarily closing earlier this week due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19.

Flame Bar and Grill will re-open on Tuesday at 3pm.

Management says all employees have been tested for COVID-19 and there have been no positive results.

Customers will need to be masked anytime they are not seated.
